Lucy Fay Ray, 86, of Campbell, Mo., formerly of the Rector area, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005.

Mrs. Ray was born Aug. 8, 1919, in Rector to the late John L. Sullivan and Mary Mabel (Church) Berry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Barnett Ray, in 1982; an infant son; her twin sister, Laura May Eaton, in 2003, and four brothers, Ebert, Charles, Harold and J.W. Berry.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Betty Ray of Lindenhurst, Ill.; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Colin Cate of Campbell; a brother, Finis Berry of Jonesboro; two sisters, Frances Beckley of Rector and Robalee Whitlock of Eugene, Ore., five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Campbell General Baptist Church with Donnie Dell officiating. Interment was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home of Rector in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Mike Gomski, Mike Wegemer, Joe Dalton, Brian Dalton, Lance Dell and Terry Jackson.
