Mrs. Bessie Tracer, 98, of Rector died Friday, Aug. 12, 2005, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

Formerly of Cardwell, Mo., Mrs. Tracer was a homemaker and a member of the Fifth and Pine Church of Christ in Rector. She had lived in Rector 50 years.

Mrs. Tracer was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Tracer; one daughter, Betty Rylant; one great-great-granddaughter, Randi Lynn Parmenter, three sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include two sons, Billy J. Tracer and Harold Tracer, both of Rector; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, at the Fifth and Pine Church of Christ with Ken Roden officiating. Burial was in Cardwell Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Fred Sain, Bobby Tracer, Scott Tracer, Todd Ford, Steve Tracer and Kirk Ford. Honorary pallbearers were Danny Tracer, Tim Tracer and Jay Beacham.

Gregg Funeral Home of Monette was in charge of arrangements.
