Camellia Louise "Corky" Corkran, 62, of Rector died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born July 4, 1943, in Rector to Lexie Corkran, who died Aug. 6, 1979, and Helen Winn Corkran, who died Nov. 3, 2001. She worked many years as a banker and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rector.

She was a member of the Rector Beautification Committee and an active participant in the Rector website group.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lois and Floyd Winn and Charles and Ethel Corkran, and a sister, Cylvia R. Corkran.

She is survived by a sister, Cynthia Corkran of Eureka Springs; longtime companion Doyle Webb, and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight (Wednesday, Aug. 3) at Irby Funeral Home in Rector. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, at the First United Methodist Church of Rector with Rev. Larry Martineau officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Cranford, Alan Crancer, Stephen Crancer, Wiley Wayland, Allen Earls, Leland Blackshare, Bill Wood and Buddy Dills.
