Polly Ursa Bishop, 93, of Memphis, Tenn., a native of Rector, died Saturday, May 28, 2005, at Methodist South Healthcare in Memphis.

Born July 11, 1911, in Rector, she was a homemaker and a member of the Providence Presbyterian Church in Southaven, Miss.

Survivors include one son, Jack D. Bishop of Southaven; one daughter, Bobbie J. Duke of Hernando, Miss.; one sister, Reba Burson of Strong, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack M. Bishop.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Neil Sherman officiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery at Greenway.
