Margaret Faye Covert, 77, of Colorado Springs, Colo., died Saturday, May 7, 2005, in Colorado Springs.

Born Dec. 1, 1927, in Walnut Ridge, she was a Southern Baptist and a retired sales associate. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ora Minton, and her husband, Edward Eugene Covert.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Heather Covert of Colorado Springs; two grandchildren, Ron Covert of Lawrence, Kans., and Sheila Hoffman of Broomfield, Colo., and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 12, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Kevin Murray officiating. Interment was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector. Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector was in charge of arrangements.
