Funeral services for 91-year-old Lorena Horner, formerly of Rector, who died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, in St. Elizabeth's Place in Jonesboro, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 23, in the Irby Funeral Home Chapel of Rector with James Henry Dortch officiating.

Mrs. Horner was born Nov. 14, 1913, to the late Andrew Huff and Minnie E. (Collier) Huff Seay.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aud "Jack" Horner; one son, Kenneth Byron Horner; her stepfather, John Seay, and one sister, Oneda Williams.

Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Jo Ella and Jim Finley of Ironton, Mo., Dianne and John Phelps of Jonesboro, Andrea and Gordon Walton of Jackson, Mo., and Janet and Rex Harmon of Corning; one sister, Dortha Dean Morales of Lake Station, Ind., and six grandchildren, Kara Finley, Kris Finley, Brad Phelps, Lauren Phelps, Kelly Harmon and Elizabeth Harmon.

Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Jim Finley, John Phelps, Gordon Walton, Rex Harmon, Kris Finley, Kelly Harmon, Brad Phelps and Phillip Williams.

Honorary pallbearers were Don Parrish, Earl Parrish, Ralph Hardin and Chad Agee.
