Born April 26, 1941, in Harrisburg, he was a truck driver, an employee of Southern Bank of Commerce and a Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Violet Hosier.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Hosier of the home; one son, Jeffrey Hosier of Alton, Ill.; two daughters, Kahsha Hosier and Carol Cornett, both of the home; five brothers, Ruben Andrew Hosier of Lafe, George Hosier of Bethalto, Ill., Johnny Hosier of Worden, Ill., Mickey Hosier of Paragould and David Hosier of Jonesboro; five sisters, Betty Hackworth and Mary Hosier, both of Paragould, Caroline Bridges of Union City, Tenn., Bertha Lopez of Saginaw, Mich., and Ann Alasta of West Monroe, La., and two grandchildren, Dezrae and Dylan Hosier.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 11, at New Bethel Cemetery with Billy Dowdy officiating. Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould was in charge of arrangements.
