Lottie Mae Blackshear

Lottie Mae Blackshear, 87, of Paragould, died Friday, April 8, 2005, at Paragould.

Born April 7, 1918, in El Paso, Ark., to the late Emma and Walter Cordell, she was a retired nurse and of the Pentecostal faith.

She also was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O. Blackshear; one brother, Bill Cordell, and three sisters, Virgie Sumler, Mammie Grigsby and Charlene Long.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Jay and Betty Blackshear of Anchorage, Alaska; one daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Don Warren of Rector; one brother, Rev. Louie Cordell of Rector; four sisters, Donna Edwards of Paragould, Dorthy Byrd of Fort Smith, Louise Shelton of Rector and Myrtle Ferguson of Rector; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, April 11, at Solid Rock Church of Kennett with Bro. Zack Parr and Bro. Carroll McGruder officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector in charge of arrangements.
