Doris Jean Brock, 83, of Jonesboro, died Friday, March 18, 2005, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born Aug. 19, 1921, in Oklahoma to the late J.L. and Eva Mae (Lemmons) Johnson and was married in 1940 to Edward Brock, who preceded her in death in 1975.

She was a nurse and of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include one son, Gene Edward Brock and wife, Kristin of Anniston, Ala.; one daughter, Patricia Watson and husband Chuck of Blytheville; five grandchildren, Joe Stroud, Debbie Johnson, Mark Brock, Lloyd Brock and Nancy Jean Brock; four great-grandchildren, Victoria Brock, Alex Brock, Amy Faulkner and Stephany Sarrels, and one great-great-grandchild, Ashlyn Matthews.

Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, March 21, at Linwood Cemetery in Paragould with Gene Brock officiating.

Irby Funeral Home of Rector was in charge of arrangements.
