Born June 7, 1921, in Holcomb, Mo., to the late Jess and Reva Barners Rouse, he was a machine repairman for General Motors, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Rector Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Rouse of Trenton, Mich.; one son, Kenneth Rouse of Trenton, Mich.; two daughters, Deann Covert of Waltz, Mich., and Linda Theadore of Baltimore, Md.; a very special friend and companion, Patricia Haywood of Rector, numerous grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 20, at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
