Walter Anthony Hall

Walter Anthony Hall, 43, of Rector, died Saturday Dec. 18, 2004, in Lexington, Tenn.

He was born March 15, 1961, in Oceanside, Calif., to the late Virgil O'Neal Hall and Audrey Adalia (Boucher) Hall and was married April 3, 1978, to Angela Kay Walton Hall, who survives.

He was an auto mechanic, of the Baptist faith and had lived in the community for 19 years.

He also was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Edmonds.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Kay Hall of the home; two sons, Walter Anthony Hall II and wife Jackie and James Thomas Hall, all of Rector; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela Kay and Alvin Williams and Audrey Kay and Shawn Walker, all of Rector; four brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Mary Edmonds of San Jose, Calif., Charles and Mary Lou Edmonds of Union City, Calif., Douglas and Cathy Edmonds of Troy, Mo., and James Thomas and Diane Edmonds of Augusta, Ga.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Jerry Schmidt of St. Ann, Mo., and Betty and Ralph Rinne of Cool Valley, Mo.; one sister-in-law, Ginny Edmonds of St. Johns, Mo.; his mother-in-law, Joyce Davis of Piggott; four grandchildren, Reanna Nicole Williams, Larry Parish, Sadie Parish and Annie Parish, and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. Mike Book officiating. Burial was in Underwood Cemetery with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Dennis Banks, Jeff Douglas, Wayne Warner, Tony Sanders, Tom Oden and Bruce Faught. Honorary pallbearers were Justin Jackson and Dale Snow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made toward funeral expenses at Irby Funeral Home.
