Elaine Rippy Roberts, 46, of Hernando, Miss., formerly of Marmaduke, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, at Methodist Hospital Central.

She was born Sept. 17, 1958, in Hernando. A 1976 graduate of Marmaduke High School, she graduated from Freed-Hardeman College with a degree in accounting. She was of the Church of Christ belief and was employed at Sam's Town.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Roberts of Hernando; her parents, Gene and Loreda Rippy of Marmaduke; her mother-in-law, Sally Roberts of Hernando; her maternal grandparents, Harry Lee and Pearl Goodman; paternal grandparents, Ben and Nettie Rippy; a brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Julie Rippy of Paragould, and a sister and brother-in-law, Nelda and J.T. Hicks of Paragould.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at Heath Colonial Chapel in Paragould with Arvil Hill and Randy Brinkley officiating. Burial was in New Liberty Cemetery at Marmaduke with Heath Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
