Larry Junior Horner

Larry Junior Horner, 63, of Paragould, formerly of Rector, died Thursday Nov. 4, 2004, at Lakeside Nursing Home in Lake City.

He was born July 29, 1941, in Clay County to Juanita (Oldham) Horner and the late Marvin Horner.

He was a disabled Navy veteran, having served in Vietnam, and worked as a UPS driver. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Horner, and one son, Eugene Horner.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Mark and Susan Horner of Nattleboro, Mass., and Philip Horner of Paragould; one daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Brian Leonard of Watertown, Mass.; his mother, Juanita Horner of Rector; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Wayne and Pat Horner of Germantown, Tenn., Harold Horner of Southhaven, Miss., and Terry Horner of Springfield, Ill.; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Maxine and Max Nelson of Rector, Janice Plante of Rector and Sandra and Don White of Little Rock, and six grandchildren, Jacqueline Horner, Peter Hill, Adan Hill, Rachael Hill, Bryanna Leonard and Julia Leonard.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Stevens officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were his nephews.
