She was born June 18, 1911, in Leonard to the late Hugh Hill and Mae Grogan Hill.
She was a retired school teacher, a member of the Eastern Star and a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Kennett.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Berlin Dean; three brothers, Delbert, Denzil and Avery Hill, and one sister, Floy Bradsher.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Rita Dean of Germantown, Tenn.; two brothers, Don Hill of Kennett and J.B. Hill of Searcy; two sisters, Wilma Houston and Avis Winston, both of Kennett; three grandchildren, David Dean of Collierville, Tenn., Carmen Dorris of Gallantin, Tenn., and Michael Dean of Germantown, Tenn., and four great-grandchildren, Alexis Dean, Sydney Dean, Andrew Dorris and Matthew Dorris.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Dr. Adrian Parker officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
