He was born June 16, 1940, at Lafe. He worked as a truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Opal Bullinger; a son, Gary Bullinger, and two brothers, Wayne Bullinger and James Bullinger Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Bullinger of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joey and Susan Bullinger of Elberta, Ala., and Rick and Donna Bullinger of Little Rock; two daughters and one son-in-law, Theresa and Wayne Black of Rector and Tina Stacy of Paragould; one brother, Dutch Bullinger of Rector; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Nancy and Buddy Nelson of Holcomb, Mo., and Glenda Shipley of Batesville; his mother-in-law, Jewell Gotthardt, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, June 23) at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. Ernie Rinks officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Douglas Williams, William Jackson, Freddy Herren, Pat Miller, Curtis Reed and and James McCord. Honorary pallbearers were David Laxton, Tom Gross and Phillip Gordon.
