Ashley Sue Brown Reed, 20, of Kennett died Wednesday, June 2, at her home in Kennett.

She was born Oct. 26, 1983, in Kennett to Ricky and Suzie Edwards Brown.

She married Chad Lee Reed on April 24, 2004, in Kennett.

Mrs. Reed was a member of the Kennett High School Class of 2003.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Johnny Brown and John and Helen Edwards.

She is survived by her husband, Chad Lee Reed of Kennett; her parents, Ricky and Suzie Brown of Kennett; one grandmother, Ruby Brown of Kennett; two brothers, Ricky Brown of Cardwell and Doug Brown of Kennett; and three nephews, Zachery, Doughten and Cameron Brown.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2004, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Wayne Bowman officiating. Burial followed in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.

Active pallbearers were Jeremy Brown, Teddy Nelson Jr., Tim Nelson, Benny Hogan, Paul Gardner and Matt Bowan. Honorary pallbearers were David Russell, Ray Russell, Brian Markam and Welsey Meeks.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of the arrangements.
