She was born Feb. 25, 1929, in Delaplaine to the late Harry Augusta Fairchild and Mazie Mae (Davis) Fairchild.
She was a homemaker, a gardener and had been a member of the Knobel Church of Christ since 1945.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Harry Fairchild Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest Talmage Bullington, of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Mike Duncan of Corning, Lois and Stanley Wright of Corning and Lucy and Benny Hancock of Knobel; three brothers, Ulys Fairchild of Knobel, Thomas Leon Fairchild of Paragould and Albert Walter "A.W." Fairchild of Batesville; six sisters, Wanda Lee Pate of Cache, Nona Fae Penny of Paragould, Rosetta Howard Cannon of Paragould, Patricia Ann Arnold of Bowling Green, Ky., and Shirley Kay Sparling of Neoga, Ill.; grandchildren, Carrie Garver, Amy Duncan, Holly Duncan, Matthew Wright, Jesse Wright, Stacey Hewlett and Zachary Hewlett, and great-grandchildren, Heather Rouse, Mackenzie Garver, Whitney Garver, Hannah Wilson and Clayton Kemp.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 28, at Corning Church of Christ with Joe Arnold and Barry Joiner officiating. Burial was in corning Cemetery with Ermert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Paragould Children's Home or Bond Cemetery Association.
