Irene Jeanette Seffers

Irene Jeanette (Anderson) Seffers, 72, of Marmaduke, died Friday, March 12, 2004, at her home.

She was born June 3, 1931, in Sikeston to the late George William Anderson and Edna Pearl (McNeese) Anderson. She also was preceded in death by one brother, William Anderson.

She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors include five sons, Randy Kidd of Kansas, David Kidd of Texas, Lyle Seffers of Marmaduke, George Seffers of West Virginia and James Seffers of Marmaduke; six daughters, Diana Sue Bartlett of Texas, Janet Cozard of Texas, Edna Rogers of Paragould, Lylia Bynum of Illinois, Elizabeth Taylor of Virginia and Lynn Hall of Marmaduke; one brother, Stanley Anderson; two sisters, Betty Luster of Illinois and Lorene McNulty of St. Louis, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Marmaduke with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating.

Burial was in Harvey's Chapel Cemetery near Marmaduke with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
