Madeline Carol Forbs, 47, of Rector, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

She was born July 1, 1956, in Jonesboro. She was a retired licensed practical nurse and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by one son, Colby Leon "Lee" Forbs.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Forbs of Rector; two sons, Dusty Forbs of Rector and Chad Franklin Fink of Fort Smith; one daughter, Mynda Forbs of Paragould; her parents, George and Robbie Fink of Wynne; her maternal grandmother, Lema Gilliam of Jonesboro; and three sisters, Valerie Marr of Wynne, Robin Owens of Fayetteville and Jennifer Presley of Memphis, Tenn.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004, at Fairview Baptist Church with the Rev. George Fink and the Rev. Dennis Strope officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Home Cemetery in Paragould.

Pallbearers were Rick Forbs, Bruce Forbs, Ray Imler, Jr., Melvin Lamar and Nick Thompson. Honorary pallbearers were Allen Forbs and Nate Forbs.

Heath Funeral Home of Paragould was in charge of the arrangements.
