Myrtle McDaniel, 94, of Rector died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004, at Rector Healthcare in Rector.

She was born Dec. 7, 1909, in Antlers, Okla., to the late Euell and Motlney Low.

She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie McDaniel.

Survivors include two sons, A.J. McDaniel of Rector and Gary McDaniel of Paragould; four daughters, Kathleen Burmester of Michigan, Bobbie Crum of Rector, Doris Cox of North Little Rock and Barbara Smith of Jonesboro, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. Marvin Tate officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Frank Shavalia, Doyne Ward, J.G. Slaven, Bill Watson, Harry Highfill and Dewayne Huffstutler.
