Larry Lewis, 59, of St. Francis died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, in the Piggott Community Hospital.

He was born Feb. 9, 1944, in Greenway, the son of the late David and Creacy Loveless Lewis.

Preceding him in death was one brother, James Lewis in 1997.

He is survived by one son, Michael Lewis of Wappappello, Mo.; five brothers, Junior Lewis of Piggott, Jerry Lewis of Piggott, Billy Lewis of St. Francis, Jackie Lewis of Piggott and Ralph Lewis of St. Francis; four sisters, Shirley Lewis of St. Francis, Ann Reagan of Piggott, Kay Trammell of Rector and Leian Donahue of St. Francis; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Charles Richardson officiating. Burial followed in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway. Active pallbearers were Randy Tyler, Tim Looney, Leon Cannon, Eddie Hurst, Steve Hooten and Cliff Miller. Honorary pallbearers were Anthony Settlemoir, Ron Eakens and Dale Pence.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
