She was born Feb. 18, 1957, in Leesburg, Fla., and was married in May 1974 to Jerry Ellis, who survives.
She was a housewife and of the General Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sherman Ebert Blanton, and two brothers, Randall and Ronald Blanton.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Ellis, of the home; her mother, Barbara Thomas; one son, Jason Dewayne Ellis of Paragould; one daughter, Rebecca June Ellis of Rector; one step-daughter, Jerry Lynn Ellis of Kennett, Mo.; one brother, Lonnie Blanton of Colorado; five sisters, Deborah Sue Stewart of Florida, Glenda Melton of Florida, Sharon Kay Martin of Malden, Mo., Tonya Blanton of Datto and Christie Carroll of Texas, and three grandchildren, Corbin Tyler Ellis, Megan Ann March and Tagan Jasa Ellis.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Marmaduke with Marston Carpenter officiating. Burial was in Post Oak Cemetery at McDougal with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Rick Stanley, Anthony Stanley, Steve Franks, Larry Young, Stephen Tinsley, Allen Underwood and Chris Franks.
