Melissia Heath, 73, of the Rector Nursing Home, formerly of Black Oak, Ark., died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, in the Piggott Community Hospital.

She was born Aug. 29, 1930, in Crockett, the daughter of the late Ruben T. and Callie Hilderbrand Graves.

She was united in marriage to Elmer Heath on Dec. 22, 1956. He preceded her in death in February of 2002.

Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Charles (Bill) Graves and Dave Runyon.

She is survived by her life-long friend and cousin, Dorothy Boozer of Piggott; and many other cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Kenneth Burns officiating. Burial followed in Mars Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Todd Cavaness, Wendell Hale, Luke Lockard, Shenan Lockard, Gary Boozer, Sr., and Gary Boozer, Jr.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
