Lillie Ester Clements, 79, of Marmaduke died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born April 20, 1924, in Greene County to the late Clarence Cole and Bessie Pearl (Parker) Cole.

She was a homemaker and had been a lifelong member of the community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Bessie Cole; her husband, Bennie Clements Sr., and one grandson, Dale Clements.

She is survived by one son, Bennie Clements Jr.; two sisters, Marceline Barner and Pauline Sheibley, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with David Clayton as speaker. Burial was in Harvey's Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke with Irby Funerl Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Rudy Sanford, Malcom Carroll, Mickey Payne, Tony Gibson, Shawn Gibson and Donald Barner.

Honorary pallbearers were Marce Bivens and Scott Wheeler.
