Enos Gribbs

Enos Gibbs, 85, 0f Marmaduke, died Nov. 12, 2003 at Paragould Nursing Center.

He was born June 17, 1918 in Greene County to the late Charles Henry Gibbs and Millie (Williams) Gibbs.

He was a farmer, a life long member of the community and a member of Ramer's Chapel Methodist Church.

He was married to Ealie Ola Wyatt on Nov. 5, 1938.

He was peceded in death by his parents, Charles and Millie Gibbs, and one great-grandchild, Payton Marie Gibbs.

Survivors include his wife, Ealie Wyatt Gibbs of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Barbara Gibbs of Paragould; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Sherril Floyd of Kennett; four brothers, Robert Gibbs, Shelly Gibbs, Henry Gibbs and Cecil Gibbs; three sisters, Mary Boone of Paragould, Ruth Hampton of Marmaduke and Naomi Foster of Marmaduke; two grandchildren, Sherri Gibbs and Terri Gibbs, one step-grandchild, June Smith and her husband Andy Smith; four step great-grandchildren, Andrea Smith, Kristi Smith, Heather Smith and Jessica Smith; and one special niece, Barbara Carter

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday Nov. 14, 2003 at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. Kim Bridges and Bro. David White officiating.

Burial was in Harvey's Chapel Cemetery near Marmaduke with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were: Nick Carter, Devon Hampton, Ricky Foster, Dewayne Boone, Ray Hale, Avon Dale Gibbs, Gary Carter and Jimmy Jones.
