Lillie Ester Clements

Lillie Ester Clements, 79, of Marmaduke died Friday Nov. 14, 2003 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born April 20, 1924 in Greene County to the late Clarence Cole and Bessie Pearl (Parker) Cole.

She was a homemaker and had been a life long member of the community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Bessie Cole; her husband, Bennie Clements, Sr; and one grandson, Dale Clements.

She is survived by one son, Bennie Clements, Jr.; two sisters, Marceline Barner and Pauline Sheibley; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 18, 2003 at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Marmaduke with David Clayton as speaker. Burial was in Harvey's Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke with Irby Funerl Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Rudy Sanford, Malcom Carroll, Mickey Payne, Tony Gibson, Shawn Gibson and Donald Barner.

Honorary pallbearers were Marce Bivens and Scott Wheeler.
