Ruby (Hoggard) Wooldridge

Ruby (Hoggard) Wooldridge, 63, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of the Marmaduke area died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, at Three Rivers Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

She was born Jan. 2, 1940, in Conway to the late Carthel Amon Hoggard and Ruby Opal (Craig) Hoggard.

She married James Eddie Wooldridge Aug. 14, 1959.

She was a former school teacher and a member of Fellowship General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Carmel Leann Hoggard Evans and Carolyn Fay Hoggard.

She is survived by her husand, Eddie Wooldridge of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, James Edward and Deborah Wooldridge of Iowa City, Iowa, William Craig and Beth Wooldridge of Overland Park, Kan. and Amon Lee and Kristin Wooldridge of Kansas City, Kan.; one brother, Denver Hoggard of Wappapello, Mo., four grandsons, Erik Partick Lockwood, James Emery Wooldridge, John Porter Wooldridge and Ian Mason Wooldridge.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Marmaduke with the Rev. Byron Beck officiating. Burial was in Harvey's Chapel Cemetery near Marmaduke with Irby Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
