Eddie "Slick" White

Eddie "Slick" White, 57, of Marmduke, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, at his residence.

He was born June 10, 1946, in Nettleton to the late Roy White and Clara Bachelor white. He was disabled and had been the manager of Pillows Fish Market for 20 years.

He was a member of Marmaduke First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Joe White, Bill White and Ray White.

Survivors include his wife, Marie (Damon) White of the home; two sons, Robert Darrell White of Paragould and Jeremy Eddie White of the home; four daughters, Linda Darnell Kidd of Paragould, Sherry Elizabeth Foster of Paragould, Amy Marie Wyatt of Marmaduke and Shelly Renee White of the home; two brothers, David White of Paragould and Johnny White of Stonewall; three sisters, Lola Mizell of Paragould, Doris Hooks of Paragould and Thelma Bradley of Jonesboro; and eight grandchildren, April Kidd, Scotty Kidd, Autumn Foster, Brittany Kidd, Fayla Foster, Hunter Wyatt, Chandler Wyatt and Elaina Wyatt.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at Marmaduke First Baptist Church with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial was in Hartsoe Cemetery west of Marmaduke with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
