Junior Class Fundraising

Sorry that I have not blogged in a while. The Junior Class has been preparing for the prom by fundraising just like every other junior class has done in the past. In three weeks time we raised over 20,000 dollars. This was a great accomplishment for us and we plan on having an amazing prom this year. We fundraised by running Little Mr. and Miss RHS. Little Mr. RHS is Drew Henderson with Easton Laden and Caleb Manning as runner ups. Little Miss RHS went to Morgan Gardner with Olivia Sutherland as runner up. It was an exhausting three weeks but well worth it.

Other happenings at school include the Drama Department's recent production of "The Odd Couple". This was the full show instead of the partial cut as in the spring showing. The show was very good. In my opinion, Colby Wynn stole the show as being a hispanic neighbor. My very best wishes go out to Amanda and Colby as this was their last performance.

The FBLA Chapter will be attteding with the State Conference in Little Rock in two weeks. There members will compete, hear motivational speakers, and attend workshops.

Softball and baseball seasons have recently started. The softball girls have rocketed out with a (5-1) start and (2-1)record in conference play. The softball girls are under the leadership of Coaches Bob Alberson and Mark Manchester. The baseball boys aren't too shabby either. With a starting record of (4-2) overall with a (4-1) record in conference. The baseball boys are headed by Coaches Nate Henderson and Matt Mills.
